Learn to Play Taiko!
Recreational Taiko is a short-term course for students seeking a fun new musical experience and an energizing whole-body activity. Classes focus on fundamental taiko skills, learning and combining rhythms, and playing together as a group.
The Recreational Taiko course meets once a week for six weeks. Generally two courses are scheduled per year. Each course focuses on a different topic or aspect of taiko, so students can repeat the course and continue to develop their taiko skills.
Recreational Taiko is open to students ages 13 and up. The registration fee for a single participant is $120.
Bring a Buddy and Save!
Taiko is even more fun with friends! If you bring a friend with you, we'll discount each of your registration fees to $100. Just include your buddy’s name on your registration form, and if you both attend the class, you’ll both get the discount.
