Taiko Kaminari Rothko Chapel-8624.jpg

EVENT UPDATE:

Due to the approach of Tropical Storm Cindy, the Rothko Chapel has cancelled tonight's Summer Solstice Celebration. We're sorry to miss the concert, but we hope everyone will stay safe tonight and tomorrow as the storm rolls through.

We are discussing the possibility of rescheduling the concert for a future date, and if that happens, we will post the event here.

Kaminari Taiko will return to the Rothko Chapel to celebrate the longest day of the year with a performance at sunset in front of the reflecting pool.

This feature-length concert is open to the public, with a suggested donation to the Rothko Chapel of $10. There will be some seating available, or you can bring blankets and spread out on the lawn.

This will be our fifth solstice concert, and each year it gets bigger and better, so we're excited to see what 2017 brings!
