Become a Kaminari Taiko Supporting Member

As a non-profit organization, Kaminari Taiko has always relied on the generosity of people who love and support the arts and Japanese culture in Houston. We can always use extra help funding our charitable work with schools, cultural groups, and organizations for children with disabilities.

This year we are able to offer rewards to folks who donate to Kaminari Taiko. It's our way of thanking you for allowing us to continue bringing the joy of taiko to audiences in Houston and across the country.

How it Works

As a Kaminari Taiko Supporting Member, you will receive year-round benefits, like an email newsletter with updates on Kaminari events and invitations to some of Kaminari Taiko's private events. The more generous your support, the more benefits you'll receive -- think public radio.

Membership Levels

Supporting Members at all levels receive the following benefits:

• Subscription to a bi-monthly newsletter detailing Kaminari's latest activities, including bonus photos and video that we don't post to the website.
• Public recognition as a supporter of Kaminari Taiko. You can be listed anonymously if you prefer.

In addition, each level of sponsorship comes with its own set of rewards:


* T-shirts and posters will be delivered as coupons redeemable at a Kaminari merchandise booth at Grand Taiko Concert 2011. T-shirt coupons will be redeemable for T-shirts, tank tops, hachimaki -- pretty much anything you can wear.

Become a Kaminari Taiko Supporting Member

Becoming a Supporting Member is easy. Simply open or download the form on the right (click on the picture), fill it out, and return it to us by snail mail, by scanning the form and emailing it to sponsorship@ilovetaiko.org, or by handing it to your friendly neighborhood Kaminari Taiko member.

To submit your donation, you can mail us a check, hand us cash, or pay by credit card through PayPal using the Donate button to the right. If you're paying by PayPal, please make sure to write "Supporting Membership from [Your Name]" in the special instructions section, so we can match your donation with your form.
