Beginner Class Taiko Lessons are held on Sunday from noon to 1:00. Taiko classes are held at the Kaminari Taiko Dojo – unlike ordinary music lessons, it is similar to the martial arts lessons (very rigorous, discipline and traditional) so come prepared for mental and physical workout (wear comfortable athletic clothing). Currently 13 years old and up – we have no children’s taiko class at this time.
Taiko Lesson Costs:
First Lesson is FREE.
One time Registration Fee: $30.00
Membership Dues (includes Lessons and use of Taiko): $60/month for the First Year.
After the First Anniversary, Membership Dues are reduced to: $20/month
Other Costs: Bachi (Drum Sticks).
